Osei-Tutu Dermatology & Hair Restoration is proud and excited to introduce TRICOPAT™, a cutting-edge solution for hair loss treatment. It is the latest development in trichology for the treatment of male and female scalp pathologies, without needles.

The Tricopat uses a combination of microdermabrasion, pressure wave stimulation, photostimulation (Red light LED), and iontophoresis to deliver products and medications into the scalp. The device uses the unique TRICOGENESI™ methodology, which is backed by 2 global patents and 2 scientific studies.​  The result of over 15 years of experience in the field of dermatology, TRICOPAT™ was developed thanks to a research project performed at the Scientific and Technological Hub that is home to CNR, ENEA and the University of Bologna.

Tricopat can be used to treat: 

• Alopecia Areata Incognito

• Androgenic Alopecia

• Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia

• Lichen Planopilaris 

• ***Telogen Effluvium**

 

The process begins with:
 

1) Disinfection of the scalp and applying a serum with growth factors and peptides to the thinning areas.
 

2) A patented acoustically-driven tip delivers shockwave therapy and creates micro-channels in the scalp, enhancing blood flow and allowing the serum to penetrate deeply.
 

3) Iontophoresis and low-level laser light further stimulate hair follicle activity and improve serum absorption.
 

This non-invasive treatment requires no downtime, with a recommendation to avoid washing the scalp for four hours post-treatment for maximum serum absorption. Patting can be combined with other hair loss treatments and can be used to treat telogen effluvium (excess hair shedding), pattern hair loss (hormonal hair loss), and some other alopecias.

 

The regimen consists of four to six treatments done once a month.  Maintenance sessions will depend on the hair loss diagnosis.
