​Now available at our Rockville Centre Skin & Hair Sanctuary, the OD Medical Glow Correction Program features the Skin by Dr. V Glow Facial, developed by Dr. Vanita Rattan with a focus on concerns common in skin of color. We combine the professional protocol with targeted Dr. V home care, pre-treatment screening and a structured treatment series.

 

Acne, post-acne dark marks and uneven pigmentation are not always straightforward. Our goal is not simply to perform a peel. We want to make sure the treatment fits your skin and that you have a realistic plan for what you are trying to improve.

Step 1: Start with a Remote Skin Assessment | $50

There is no need to come into the office. After booking, our team contacts you securely through Klara. You answer a short questionnaire and submit three clear photographs. The full $50 assessment fee is applied to a Glow program purchased within 30 days.

Step 2: Aesthetician Review and Treatment Plan

Our licensed aesthetician reviews your questionnaire and photographs and recommends the most appropriate next step. Most patients do not need a dermatologist appointment before beginning Glow.

Step 3: Choose Your Glow Pathway

Signature Glow

For many patients, the Signature Glow is the right starting point. It is performed by our licensed aesthetician Smit Courtney and includes the Dr. V professional treatment protocol, your three-treatment series and the appropriate Dr. V home-care system. It does not include the advanced RF or needling steps.

Advanced Glow with Dr. Nanna

For patients who want or may benefit from a more intensive approach, the Advanced Glow is performed entirely by Dr. Nanna. Based on your skin, goals and treatment suitability, the Advanced Glow may incorporate the additional radiofrequency step and a needling step from the original Glow protocol. These additions are not necessary for every patient to benefit from Glow.

When a Dermatologist May Be Helpful

Most patients do not need a dermatologist appointment before beginning Glow. If your screening suggests that your acne, melasma, pigmentation or another concern may need medical diagnosis or prescription treatment, we will tell you. You may see a dermatologist in our office, your own dermatologist or another local dermatologist. You are not required to receive dermatology care from OD Medical in order to be considered for Glow.
