CORTISONE (ALOPECIA / HAIR LOSS)

Done during a hair loss visit. Can be used for various hair loss conditions to decrease inflammation and facilitate hair growth - $75 (must be accompanied by an in-office visit)

CORTISONE (INFLAMED CYST) - (1st Lesion)

Done during a visit. Can be used for various types of cysts (e.g. acne) to decrease inflammation. *See Prices for Stand Alone Cyst Injections below - $50 (must be accompanied by an in-office visit)

MEDICAL DERMATOLOGY - BIOPSIES

NAIL BIOPSY

Local anesthesia to numb the area, a surgical tool used to remove nail samples, and sutures may be used to close the wound. The specimen is sent to pathology - $350

PUNCH BIOPSY - 1st Biopsy

Local anesthesia to numb the area, punch biopsy tool used to remove the sample, and sutures to close the wound. The specimen is sent to pathology - $225

PUNCH BIOPSY - Each Additional

Local anesthesia to numb the area, punch biopsy tool used to remove the scalp/ skin sample, and sutures to close the wound. The specimen is sent to pathology - $200

SHAVE BIOPSY - 1st Biopsy

Local anesthesia to numb the area, blade used to remove the scalp/ skin sample. The specimen is sent to pathology - $175

INCISION AND DRAINAGE - 1st Lesion

Area numbed, surgical tool used to make an incision, purulent material is released, bacterial culture sent to the lab - $200 (must be accompanied by an in-office visit)
